San Jose Del Comundu is a small remote ranch community that lives simply and with the old traditions of Mexican Ranchero lifestyle. Hosted by a local family, Carlito learns how the make candy from sugar cane, collects goat's milk and prepares goat cheese. Then as tradition has it, the family slaughters a goat for Carlito to have meat to prepare for the feast they are having that day. Carlito grills the whole goat, creates a potato salad and a salad made from local cactus that the whole family will enjoy at their fiesta.
